1. Information We Collect

When you use GH Pilot, we collect:

• Account information: Your Google account email and display name, provided through Google OAuth sign-in.
• Usage data: Number of AI requests, timestamps, and general usage patterns to enforce rate limits and improve the Service.
• Canvas context: When you send a message, your current Grasshopper canvas state (component names, connections, errors) is sent to our server to provide relevant AI responses. This data is processed in real time and not permanently stored.
• Feedback: Any feedback you voluntarily submit through the plugin.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the AI assistant service.
• To manage your account and subscription.
• To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse.
• To respond to feedback and support requests.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google OAuth: For authentication. We only receive your email and name.
• Google Gemini API: Your prompts and canvas context are sent to Google's AI API for processing. See Google's AI Terms.
• Polar: For payment processing. Polar handles all payment data. See Polar's Terms.

4. Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• Conversation history is stored locally in your Grasshopper plugin, not on our servers.
• Usage records are retained for billing and analytics purposes.

5. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Authentication tokens are stored securely. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. You may export or delete your local conversation history at any time through the plugin.

7. Cookies

The GH Pilot plugin does not use cookies. The website (ghpilot.net) does not use tracking cookies.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
